How to void, comp, or discount an item after it has been sent to the kitchen
If you need to remove an item from a check after it has been sent to the kitchen the Delete Button (discussed) cannot be used. Instead the item must be voided from the check. You will use the Adjust Price function instead of the Delete function.
After selecting the Adjust Price Function, select the item(s) you wish to void. There is also an option to void the entire check.
Select the appropriate type of void from the list pop-up that appears. The item will be voided and be removed from the check.
To Discount or Comp the check or item, follow the same guidelines as the voiding procedures using the appropriate comp/discount
